TAVANI näht Mund-Nasen-Abdeckungen für das Altenpflegeheim Bischof Sproll
In den vergangenen Wochen gab es immer mehr Aufrufe nach selbst genähten Mund-Nasen-Abdeckungen. Es gab zahlreiche positive wie negative Schlagzeilen um diese Behelfsmasken in medizinschen und pflegerischen Einrichtungen. Abmahnanwälte sind auf Hochtouren und mahnen ab, wenn die Behelfsmasken oder auch Mund-Nasen-Abdeckungen als ,,Mundschutz“ betitelt werden. Es muss klar gestellt sein, dass diese keinen Schutz vor Corona oder Covid-19 bieten sondern lediglich die Infektionen durch Niesen, Husten oder eine feuchte Aussprache vermindern.
Dennoch war ich durch meinen Mann, Leiter eines Altenpflegeheimes in Horb, persönlich von der Knappheit an Schutzausrüstung betroffen. Die bestellten Schutzmasken sind nicht lieferbar und die versprochene Ausrüstung durch das Gesundheitsamt war nur eine Handvoll Material. Wie soll man damit die Bewohner schützen? Bevor die Mitarbeiter also gar keinen Mundschutz tragen, sind die selbst genähten Mund-Nasen-Abdeckungen (MNA) durchaus eine hilfreiche Alternative.
Bisher hätte ich mich nicht als großartige Näherin bezeichnet. Handarbeit lag mir noch nie, dennoch wollte ich helfen. Kurzerhand leihte ich mir bei meiner Schwiegermutter die Nähmaschine und bestellte mir Stoff im Internet. Nach einigen Tests und Versuchen hatte ich den Dreh um die geeignete Faltung, richtige Naht und den passenden Sitz raus. Die Produktion wurde gestartet. Den Aufwand hatte ich allerdings unterschätzt. Es macht sehr viel Mühe, die MNA so zu nähen, dass sie auch nach mehrmaligen waschen mit 95° nicht auseinanderfallen.
Die ersten MNA fanden großen Anklang, nicht nur bei den Mitarbeitern des Altenpflegeheim Bischof Sproll in Horb. Auch in den Sozialen Netzwerken bekam ich positives Feedback, was mich sehr gefreut und mich in meinem Vorhaben bestärkt hat. Innerhalb einer Woche schaffte ich gemeinsam mit meiner Schwiegermutter, die sich auch noch dazu hinreißen lies mit mir zu nähen, insgesamt 50 Stück.
Diese werde ich jetzt selbstverständlich kostenlos verteilen. Vorrangig an Mitarbeiter in medizinischen oder pflegerischen Bereichen. Wer also Bedarf hat, darf sich gerne bei mir melden 🙂
